About
Hey there! Allow me to introduce myself
I’ve been a hairstylist for 28 years now. Yeah, I know that’s a long time! My passion to style hair started at a very young age when I gave all of my dolls haircuts; even my mom's expensive porcelain dolls! When I was about 12 my aunt became a hairstylist and gave me my first non-kitchen shear haircut and perm. I was hooked; I knew then it was my calling. In high school I enrolled in the vocational program and earned my NJ state license by graduation. I was fortunate enough to be selected to work for one of the premier salons of that time and went on to do a 2.5 year apprenticeship in haircutting. I worked with some amazing mentors along the way, earning my own chair at that top salon.
Throughout the years I’ve worked on Fashion Week in NYC, music videos, commercials, and countless brides. As a matter of fact, I was only 16 when I styled hair for my first bride!

When I’m not creating custom haircuts, doing hair extensions, or fulfilling the visions of one of my brides, you can find me baking up a storm, trying my hand at fun Halloween make-up, binging a new series, hanging with my family, or having brunch with friends.
After 28 years, I can honestly say that working with brides is my favorite part of of what I do. I actually still get a little nervous when I place a veil on her head, and I’m always so honored that she CHOSE me to be a part of the most important day of her life. I’d love to speak with you about your vision for your wedding-day hair, so please reach out to me with any and all questions you may have.

I vow to be there for you all the way..
Cheers!
Shannon
